About Jay 
It'’s hard to believe I'’ve been doing this work for over forty years. I’'ve voiced thousands of commercials and promos. I'’ve taught voice acting classes at universities and colleges. I studied voice with the great Daws Butler.
In 2000, I began using Pro Tools and became adept at digital production. Awards have been won. My Northern California studio offers great mics and processing plus thousands of music drops and sound effects.
I was born and raised on L.A. radio in its 60’s heyday. Since 1970 most of my voiceover and radio career has been in San Francisco and Los Angeles. I'’ve been a major market disc jockey, Promo Voice, Program Director and Creative Director.
My voice styles are many. I go from sexy soft sell to extreme over the top. Many toys, games and amusements have featured my character voices. Work your way around the site for examples.
